The IRS is a small subcontractor.

What rights you ask? Personal choice. The right to make my own decision. That if I don't do as the Government says I have to - I can go to jail.

How is that for starters?
You might want to read the final bill before making such statements.

No the link to the millions of people in red states who don't own automobiles. As far as I know the tendency not to own an automobile is a blue state phenomenon.

i have thought again, and i still would have to say government!

the government CHOSE to bail out corporate america on the backs of american workers. the government CHOSE to place that burden on americans and i think that accounts for a lot of the anti-government sentiment that is now cropping up around the country, especially when people see how the government misspent or misappropriated the bailout money.

Perhaps if you re-read my post(s) I noted that "if the bill passes and becomes law".

Is this sufficient for you?

BTW, for a point of clarification - when I indicated I had read the "final" bill - I was referring to the "final" version of the House bill which contains the criminalization provision.

WHAT final bill?

The most troubling thing is that the people who voted for this have no idea what's in it, and liberal lemmings that make positive statements about it may as well make the claim that they enjoy sleeping in rattlesnake pits — or at least should be.

When you buy a car, you know that going in.
We're not given the choice to not buy a car and walk to work when it comes to this healthcare plan

In the grown up world there are probably millions of Americans who are hostage to their Employer Based Health Care. They have families and can't leave a job they hate or retire etc. etc. I've been there I know. I don't like this Health Care Bill but Employer Based Insurance broke GM and makes America far less competitive on the World Market. I want Health Care Nationalized, so that Americans will no longer be slaves to the Insurance industry
