So, I was finishing my workout at the gym this morning and I had Fox news on. I must say that I don't think that Fox is any worse than CNN, MSNBC, ABC or the other mainstream news sources, but for the entire 40 minutes I was on the elliptical, they only thing they talked about was that mistress of John Edwards
Really, who cares about this kind of garbage. It belongs on TMZ or access Hollywood or some other tabloid source, not on the News which should be reporting real news like meaningful events that effect us around the world.

I agree. Yet again the so called real news Mainstream media is giving another woman that spread her legs to a married man in the spotlight more spotlight time. This woman to me is no better than the women tiger woods messed around with. Hours after meeting she's having what appears to be unprotected sex. I agree with all your points. The best thing we as Americans can do is change the channel and not watch the increasingly tabloid like mainstream news.
When their ratings go down and they lose $ they will get the point
Time to switch permanently to BBC since they actually report real news
The Beeb is in the business of making news coverage.
Fox, CNN (and a good chunk of the rest) are not. They tailor their broadcasts to attract a loyal audience - and said audience is then marketed to advertisers.
Producing news and producing reliable audiences has two very different outcomes.
