Major Garrett to interview Obama (interviews, Whitehouse, 9/11, how much)

I guess after telling Chinese students that he welcomes criticism, it would be a bit tough to grant interviews to the other 4 networks, and exclude Fox again.

Honestly. He should continue to tell Fox to get bent. I'm quite fine with it myself.

I hope Major will ask good questions, which he mostly does...and I wonder how much of the answers will be short and understandable before Obama goes in his 5 min. answers and nobody has a clue what he is talking about....and never answers the question...like he does most of the time

Well if he takes 5 minutes to answer a question Major will get to ask only 2 because it is only a 10 minute interview. Four other networks also get 10 minutes each.

UPDATE 11/17: It looks like Fox will interview Obama after all. Drudge reported last week that Fox would get a sit-down on the Asia trip, but the White House quickly pushed back that nothing was confirmed. Now, Garrett writes on Twitter (via TVNewser): "I will interview POTUS on camera Wed am here in Beijing. 4 other networks will too. 10 mins per. Many had asked. Can say now."
