Death. No doubt about it.

You take away someone else's right to live then you don't deserve it either.

Beat him up three times harder than how he beat the girl and then execute him. Done. No more worrying about him killing someone else.

It will set an example for others.

Signed,
A liberal who is pro death penalty because it improves the general welfare of SOCIETY AND THE PEOPLE!

Ps-bet you expected me to say to spare him, eh? I surprise a lot of people with my stance of capital punishment.

I live here and have followed the story like most in the state: Even the death penalty is too good for him...

Don't make it sound like life in prison is some comfy thing.

However, if this guy is found guilty beyond any doubt, then by all means he should be executed for what he did to her.

I think the victims family should be given the choice of death, and the choice if they'd like to carry it out themselves.

If he is found guilty, he was found guilty and the jury took no time in reaching a decision: No one is saying life in prison is a breeze, but no matter, anyone spending time is prison could bet out. Have you heard of escape, just to mention one way..This guy does not deserve to be on this earth!!!

When you consider a soldier raped a 14 yo Iraqi girl, killed her and her family and set them all on fire to conceal the evidence and only got a life sentence your and mine opinion is useless.

The OP said "Nice comfy prison" in his argument.

No one has ever escaped from a Super Max prison.

Different story and not related. The guy who did this here in AR is dispecable: (spelling) so was the guy who raped the 14 year old.
