I tried reading it, roy. Sorry, I couldn't wade through the boring "liberal this, liberal that" to get to the humorous parts. Maybe you would paste them here?
This is pretty funny because A. I have not heard one person, liberal or not, claim that Hasan is the victim in this, not one person. And B. I notice how she doesn't even mention the military's part in all of this. Namely, they knew he was a problem & possibly dangerous or psychotic. Now I wonder why that is that she's not putting any blame on the military & instead sticks to her usual anti-liberal blathering? That whole column just shows how limited her logic really is.
You seriously thought this piece would not offend?
"On Sept. 11, 2001, Muslims moved to the top of liberals' victim pantheon on the basis of having slaughtered 3,000 Americans."
"The only American deserving of more coddling than a Muslim is the first African-American president."
"So, now any dyspeptic expression toward a Muslim is grounds for calling in a diversity coordinator. And when the "victim" attacks, as at Fort Hood, the rest of us are supposed to feel guilty because Hasan's car got keyed once."
The irony is if this was a piece written in a similar fashion by a liberal writer, people would be foaming at the mouth at how un-American it was. Am I wrong? If it was a different slant would you find it amusing too?
