There is no such thing as a "free vasectomy" (unless someone with surgical expertise will do it voluntarily as a free service).

Of course, there is always the unfortunate accident a man may fall victim to. Like robbing a convenience store and then getting your.....ummmm....privates shot off by a PO'd clerk.

Seems to me like "socialized vasectomies" would prevent many abortions.
If you don't want to have children, don't have sex. It's that simple.

Do anti-abortion people support free vasectomies?

Looks like catholics are against vasectomies,
I wonder where they found that in the Bible.
Artifical Birth Control (http://www.dioceseoflincoln.org/purple/birth/index.htm#5 - broken link)

Is it all right for a man to have a vasectomy if he already is the father of several children?

Contraceptive sterilization is always a mortal sin. Sterilization is only permitted if it is necessary for a strictly medical, therapeutic reason, not for contraception. The number of children a man has or does not have is not relevant to the morality of the act. Incidentally, not only the patients who request it, but the doctors and other medical personnel who are involved in contraceptive sterilizations, commit a grave sin.
Yes i think we shouldhave clinics to obtain them free

I don't think many have suggested it is totally his or her fault. There will always be a fee, the same as a few who think 3rd trimester abortions are ok, but these are the extremist, not the average person...Heck there was a time when men were the ones that got all the blame.

Abortion should not be used as birth control...and partial birth abortion should be against the law...IMO..

You're assuming all Catholics blindly obey whatever the Catholic Church says about things that aren't in the bible. Don't Confuse Catholics with muslims. If our priest calls on us to murder someone, we'd kick him out the church and alert the police. Muslim leaders calls for the death of someone and they get the job done.

Are you concerned that Roman Catholics who won't get a vascetemy because it is a sin are going to abort their children?

If Roman Catholics blindly obeyed the church then how do you explain the entire Kennedy family?
