To hold Carrie Prejean to the inhuman standards just because she believes that marriage is between one man and one woman shows how shallow the liberal left has become. She believes in the traditional institution of marriage, but somehow she's expected to refrain from having sex in a hotel room with someone she met online?
She didn't say gay men and women shouldn't meet people online and have sex with them. She said she believed in the traditional institution of marriage.
Call me crazy, but I see no correllation whatsoever.

Inhuman standards? How so? EVERYTHING she is going through, she rightfully deserves. I say this as someone her age. And don't bring up the liberal left into this. Even if she had been a liberal and said gay marriage was ok, she would be going through this with conservatives who cry about no morals and such. When she got fired for the pictures that came out, you all would have had a field day screaming about liberals and their no morals and how they hate working. And it is not because she said marriage is between a man and a women but the hypocrite she is. I had no problem with Carrie when she said that but I did have a problem with Perez. He was the ass then. And now, she is the ass.

I guess Christian values now including lying, judging, making sex tapes, and having sex with a man you met from myspace.
Seems like that me (as an Atheist) is so much more Christian than her. Christian should be CONCERNED about her cheapening the name of Christianity.

It's the selective Christianity that I have a problem with. The bible doesn't SAY not to get a boob job. The bible doesn't SAY not to video yourself masturbating. Whatever... I wonder if she even had an opinion on gay marriage before the pageant. She doesn't strike me as a person who would give it much thought. I wonder if she just blurted out the answer she thought would be most popular. I wonder if she really is a conservative Christian, or if her answer at the pageant just pushed her in that direction. Maybe it was just a way to stay in the spotlight.
The circus called Carrie Prejean just keeps giving us laughs a mile a minute. If I wrote stuff this bizarre for the movies they'd call it utter fiction and say I had no grasp of reality. The religious right is abjectly desperate for a pretty face and a new voice. They shoved Palin onto McCain and failed miserably. They shoved Prejean on the nation as some sort of spokesperson for all that's holy and moral but have ended up with a silicon airhead porno queen whose brains wouldn't fill an A cup.
I guess the religious right and the GOP need a remedial course in how to 'vet' their public faces. They obviously don't get the "vet" part very well, all they put forth are real dogs.... ARF!
