But isn't that how he got elected, just lie to the people, tell them what they want to hear, and have a compliant news media, with thrills running up their legs, refusing to hold him accountable.
Instead of reporting the lies and distortion from this administration, they send 11 journalists to fact check Palin's book, and a SNL skit.
At one time an angry group of constituents were complaining LBJ was not keeping his campaign promises. An aide asked LBJ what he should tell the angry group.
LBJ laughed,threw his head back and said, " tell them I lied"

Oh, geez.....this is like those crazy emails that keep getting circulated and circulated. How many threads have there been about this? How often do the well-informed have to respond to this stuff?
