Those are few of the reasons why I don't trust women because they just want kids and will sabotage birth control methods.
Most people (usually women) are unaware of overpopulation and how worse its going to get if people continue to breed.
Maybe of them believe that children are cute and blessing.
There ARE a tiny few of us women who are aware of overpopulation and definitely do not want kids, never planned on it, never fantasized about it, and never will. And I don't hate kids. I do think some of them are cute (not all human babies are cute, just like not all human adults are good-looking -- just being objective, not sentimental) and the ones who misbehave are due to bad parenting. One of my favorite shows is Supernanny. That's how I get my maternal instincts fed...!
But it is a very very few minority. I have only met 2 other women in my entire life that were adamant about having no children. All the other 100's and thousands respond to their biological clock. I'm not against women having children -- I'm happy for them if that is what they want. Gee all my friends have kids. But I am definitely more than aware of the earth's peril in the hands of the homo sapien species. Of course, that is why we are heading for the moon, right? So sad.
Yesterday I was in the room while my girlfriend was watching the Oprah interview of Sarah Palin. While my mind hasn't changed about the insufferable Palin or the annoying Oprah, something really stuck out in my mind.
Oprah said that 99.9% of women do all the "heavy lifting" when it comes to families. How is that not a sexist thing to say? I don't know about you all, but my father not only worked to earn the money for my family, but would fly back early from a business trip just to go to my little league game or to take me to the Warriors game. All of my friends had fathers who taught them how to play ball, how to be a man, how to deal with men (for those of my friends who are women), how to drive, how to fix things in the house, how to cook, how to do algebra, etc. To say that women do everything is not only incredibly sexist, it is false.
As a little league coach, I can say for certain that many of the fathers contribute more to their child's development than their mothers. Some of the kids have mothers that I've never met, and yet the father is at every practice and game.
Why is it still okay for a woman to say something like that, but if a man said "you're a woman, it's your job to clean, cook and take care of the kids" he'd be considered a sexist jerk?
I notice Oprah does have those kind of shows and says those kind of things---she knows who her audience is.
IMO she has not gotten updated with the times and still pushes the old feminist line of us poor women. Times have changed, probably it's good she is ending her show. The old labels do not apply today. Just look at Palin's husband. He helps raise his family as much as she does and a lot of men are doing the same thing with their wives working. The old feminists should all be put out to pasture and let the new women take over.

It is so hard for young men to FIND a woman who never wants children. What would make me angry if I was with a woman and she changed her mind, I would be like "Why did I waste my time with a breeder?"
Hopefully by 35 there will be women who are 100% sure they don't want kids.

I SOOO agree with you! A lot of them grew up in sexist times and that is what they experienced. But they act like they're still battling the same demons. Oprah, the richest woman on the planet is still whining about men. Tell that to some woman in Afghanistan who has to wear a burqa and stay illiterate.
I know a woman from that generation who does nothing but complain about men. We can start talking about something totally innocous (like the weather) and within 5 minutes she'll get started. And this is a woman who is beyond wealthy, owns 4 huge mansions, stopped working because she didn't have to, being married to a husband who made a lot of $.
Her life is being the mistress of the house who orders her maid, cook, and gardener around, and it's all the man's fault.

I understand. Most of the guys I dated in the past, whenever things started getting serious, would ask me, "How many kids would you like?" assuming I wanted them. One of them even had his nieces come over often just so I could "practice". It was a horrible experience. Of course we're not together now.
No, you don't know if a girl is going to change her mind down the line. Unless she has no uterus (from a hysterectomy), she can have a child, either via natural pregnancy or in vitro if she is fertile. Also, women can have children up to age 50 (Nancy Grace, TV "bad news" anchor had hers at 47!).
I have never changed my mind. Everybody told me when I was young that I'd change my mind. Then 30 came and I didn't. 40 came and I didn't...etc.
Keep your communications with the woman honest and real. Know her well. Let her know you well. The only way she is going to sneak anything on you is if she is seriously dysfunctional. But also remember that lots of guys who were against having kids end up appreciating and loving the kid. And have no regrets. So....ya never know!
Like my mother use to say---"If their mother had taken that attitude they would have never been born."
Of course, they have a right to their own opinion but why put down others who do not think like they do? I have only heard gays use the term "breeder" for straights but if their mother didn't have them how would they be here?
I didn't know it had gone to the straight community to use that term for people who want children----just like their own parents did. Kinda sad human life has been so cheapened.
Once we started going down the abortion trail this was bound to be the results.
