De facto means he didn't say it but it may be implied. I don't think the shirts that should be outlawed, I just wished to point out how irrational and radical some people are.

Son of Sam was an individual psychopath and wasn't printing t-shirts designed to incite the assassination of the President, and neither was the dog.

I think you are being overly paranoid. Its aT shirt sold on sites that offer all sorts of political views. I don't see it as a means to incite an assasination. I see it as a way for the sites to make cash on the dissatisfaction a portion of the population has for the current administration. No different than all of the anti Bush and Cheney merchandise in the previous years.

I know what you're saying but in all fairness none of them wished death upon them nor did they use the Bible (a trusted source to a lot of Americans) to try to enforce the view

since they like to pick & choose verses why didnt they choose a verse like this...

"For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty." 1st timothy 2:2

Death Threats Against Bush at Protests Ignored for Years · zomblog

Lots of in public death threats against Bush. Do you think that was okay?

I still disagree about the one quoted sentence in the psalm. It merely states it is looking forward to having a new leader. That sentence alone does not infer any sort of violence. So are T shirts with just that sentence written on it okay?

Well, here's your chance. Whip up some shirts and sell 'em to Obama supporters. Make some cash.

If these shirts would sell, they'd be making them. Remember all the Obama merchandise after the election?

Psalms 109:8 was taken out of context and God NEVER commands us to pray for the death of ANYONE. This "conservative" group is obviously NOT a Christian group as Jesus tells us to love others, even those we consider our "enemies." The Bible is very clear that we are also to submit to those in authority over us and pray for them for wisdom. Here are some Bible passages for further reference taken from the New King James Version.

Jesus tells us to love one another (this includes loving our leaders):
John 13:34-35: A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

The Bible tells us to pray for our leaders:
1 Timothy 2:
1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

The Bible tells us to subject ourselves to those in authority over us because all authority comes from God (regardless of political party).
Romans 13:1-2:
1 Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.

Titus 3:1-2
1 Remind them to be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, 2 to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.

" 7 When he is judged, let him be found guilty, And let his prayer become sin. 8 Let his days be few, And let another take his office."

Psalm 109 - New King James Version - NKJ - Bible Study Tools

So where's the "violently murdered" part?
