Create jobs, keep taxes low, reduce the size of government, and the rest will follow.

In no particular order.

-stop fossil fuel dependence, go 100% renewable
-end the wars all of them, even the ones we dont call wars
-Tax the hell out of every company sending jobs out of this country
-Single payer health care
-Raise minimum wage to a living wage
-Try bush, cheney, rumsfeld etc for war crimes. We can not set precedent
-eliminate corporate bailouts let them fail
-end racism, sexism etc.
-let our children be children
-Get parents to be involved in their childrens lives not just disciplinarians.

I agree with three things on this post: Let your children be children. Not little marzist sex kittens that the schools seem to be pumping out.

Get parents involved. God, that would be wonderful.

Let the companies fail. The bailouts were a bad idea from Bush and now Obama. Enough.

Minibrings you asked me "what is YOUR list as the OP?
and shouldn't this be in Politics and not Education?"

I posed the question because I am curious about what issues are important to various people. No I don't think a political forum is the place for a topic like this. Isn't part of the purpose of education to teach students critical thinking? Part of understanding is knowing what things are important to others.

If you really want to know what is important to me you can look at my past posts or threads, they should give a few clues about what I think matters.

This is good, but really the #1?
Quote:
2.Deport illegal aliens
And how would you propose we pay for the costs of finding these illegal aliens, deporting them and making sure they don't return?
Quote:
3.Stop spending
On what? Everything? If you want to deport illegals, you have to spend...use logic!

4.Get better pollititians
I think we can all agree with this one! People need to elect more 3rd party candidates!

5.Give teachers better pay(some)
Absolutely. Teachers deserve a minimum of $60,000/yr. They require advanced degrees and they provide a very necessary service. They should be compensated like other skilled laborers with specialized college and postgraduate degrees.

6.Raise educations standards
Again, I agree with this.

7.Get rid of Do-Gooders
What a STUPID statement. Without do-gooders, we don't have any charity. We don't have little league (coaches, umpires and league officials are volunteers) without "do-gooders". We don't have homeless shelters without them...
I guess this shows what kind of person you are: SELFISH.
The only person that matters to you is you!

8.Stop banning "Dangerous Things"
I do agree with this because all banning things does is put them into the hands of criminals.
Quote:
9.Harsher criminal punishments
We already have the largest prison population in the world (per capita), maybe our prisons should think of another way to serve society.

10.Enough of school's time wasting
Sounds to me like you're still in school...there are 3 items about schools in your top ten.
