Why report the news when you can make the news up?
wow, and we all beleive everything Huffington report has to say? Well, not all of us, those who have any reasoning power know most of what appears there is questionable to say the least...Any totally left or right wing publication is slanted so badly it isn't worth wasting time reading.
FOX has told the courts they are not providing news but are only providing entertainment and therefore are exempt from having to tell anything resembling the reality. They figure, correctly, that their viewers are unable to tell the difference.
I'd love to see a link on this? That would be rather amazing if they actually said this.
You got that right! And in this case it was really stupid because her first book signing in Grand Rapids was huge for an event like that and didn't need to be pumped up. It dominated our local news here in Michigan and didn't once show the protesters on the opposite side of the street.
I hesitate using the word "stupid". I prefer to say they are "lacking ordinary quickness and keenness of mind". Ooops! That's the definition, how stupid of me.
I have seen Fox, CNN etc... mess up by showing the wrong video a few times in the past couple months. T.
I can see a commentator and a clip not being in sync. That can certainly happen.
But when footage is doctored to show larger crowds than actually were there, such as was the case in the Bachmann Tea Party clip, and the subsequent text bloats the turnout numbers, it's a freaking walking, talking, quacking duck.
when a TV station claims to be "news" and "claims to be "fair and balanced" changing the channel when you don't like it is not enough. Surely you don't think it is ok to lie and call it news, even if it fits your agenda. do you?
how many times are we expected to believe this kind of thing is an honest mistake?
