Obama’s Popularity Is Higher Than His Policies, Poll Finds - Bloomberg.com
National (US) Poll * November 19, 2009 * American Voters Like Obama, Bu - Quinnipiac University – Hamden, Connecticut

Quote:
Fifty-three percent disapproved of his handling of health care compared with 41 percent who backed the president.

Voters opposed by 51 percent to 35 percent health-care legislation that was supported by Obama and passed by the House of Representatives on Nov. 7, the poll showed.

"Independent voters disapprove 59 - 35 percent of the President's handling of health care and disapprove 57 - 29 percent of the plan itself."
Those are nasty numbers, which the democrats are trying to ignore.

Here's some more;

Gallup Daily: Obama Job Approval

50-44%. They are trying desperately to keep him above 50%.

46-46%

Obama Approval Index History - Rasmussen Reports™

Quote:
Overall, 46% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty-three percent (53%) now disapprove.
http://www.cbsnews.com/htdocs/pdf/poll_obama_111709.pdf

Quote:
The president’s approval rating has dropped seven points among
independents. 45% of independents now approve of how the
president is handling his job; last month a majority of 52%
approved.
53% approval - and that's with a 14% gap in party Id toward the democrats. Can we imagine what it would be if they used a credible number?

I don't like him and I don't like his policies. At least I'm consistent.

sanrene Did you ever research WHY over 50% dont like his handling?

its because a growing number of liberals wanted him to be tougher on republicans, not because more people agree with republicans (latest polls indicate that less than 20% agree with Republican sentiments).

Seriously, you cant throw lettuce on top of your steak and call it a salad. Hiding the obvious analysis of the data shows fallacious intent behind the claim you make.

(and Im not at all a big Obama fan, at that)

Sorry, that dog won't bark. I know the liberals would like to believe his polls numbers are tanking because he IS NOT implementing his radical agenda, but the facts, statistics and recent elections tell a different and true story. There is a correlation with the disapproval numbers regarding obamacare/pelosicare and his own poll numbers.
