You've officially been tossed into the Useless Partisan Opinion heap.

You're giving Independents a horrible name. At least change your affiliation to Liberal O'Tard if you're gonna spew that tripe.
Your outrage is preceeded only by your silence on an OP that wishes death to black people.

If you had criticized the OP with as much vigor as this, I'd be agreeing with you, but I can only conclude that you yourself must be driven by partisan feelings as well.

Do you consider crossing a bridge to be stupid? What about riding in an elevator? Is that stupid?

The issue isn't the hurricane, but the levee. We have a legal expectation that structures are capable of doing that which they're designed to do. If you die from a broken elevator or bridge cable, can I call you stupid for going way up high, where you shouldn't be?

So NOLA was the murder capital of the US, I doubt the world, though those with tunnell vision think the US is all ther is. So lets just let them all die; is that the plan? A basic tenant of emergency planning is to do just that, plan for an emergency. How do you evacuate people who are immobile, who don't own cars, who are in hosptials. The govt. failed. Familes can't do this on their own, but perhaps we should go back to the way it was before FDR; everyone on their own in an emergency. I can live with that, but I can bet that those who are bashing those who have faith in their city and community would be the first to whine, they usually are.

What I'm hearing, which is sort of scary, is they all want to stay in Texas. Everyone is so overwhelmed by the hospitality. And so many of the people in the Arena, you know, were underprivileged anyway, so this is working very well for them.
