No, neither the CBO nor anyone else who knows what they are talking about (obviosuly FOX News is not among that group) has said that the Public Option will receive any support at all from taxpayers after the startup costs, because there is no provision in any bill for it but rather proscriptions against it.
HR 3200 - Sec 222(b)(2)(C):
LIMITATION ON FUNDING- Nothing in this section shall be construed as authorizing any additional appropriations to the [Public Option] Account, other than such amounts as are otherwise provided with respect to other Exchange-participating health benefits plans.
Can you read that? After the start-up costs, nothing may be appropriated into the public option except as appropriations may be made to all exchange participants. Too many big words again, or did it sink in this time?
Mind finding me the section in the senate bill that says the same, or are you taking part in your typical selective reading of bills?
edited: ooh wait, you are being dishonest again, section 222,b2c, deals with ONLY startup funding. Nothing appropriates anything other than $2Billion for a startup account.

After a rash of mistakes and apologies over the past weeks, Fox News has sent a memo to employees announcing a new "zero tolerance" policy for on-screen errors.
FishBowlDC obtained the memo, sent last Friday, which warns mistakes could lead to written warnings, suspensions and termination.
