Because it's been their bread and butter to sensationalize this story for the last decade or more and it's clearly an agenda supported by the left leaning media. they are hoping it just goes away but that is not going to happen. The rats are jumping ship such as a UK reporter who was firmly in the AGW camp who is now calling for the ouster of Phil Jones, re-examination of the data and offered apology to his readers to his credit.
Having said that there has been some articles in the Mainstream media and it's picking up steam.
Oh they will report eventually. If there is one thing news agencies absolutely hate is being reported on by another agency for being biased or failing to be objective in the face of the facts. Though to be honest, I wouldn't bother watching them when they do anyway as while they are begrudgingly doing so, they will likely spin it as hard as they can to support their bias.
You link us an article quoting one of the people who are implicated and he is severely so in those emails making a speculation as to why these were obtained, yet providing absolutely no evidence to even support his claim?
Katiana, it was speculation and a poorly constructed opinion combined with the willingness to entertain such practices in the face of the evidence that got them in this position in the first place and you come here thinking you have some valid argument?
Facts and supporting evidence please. I think we have had enough of the "real science" of those groups.
Also, think about what he is saying as well. We know these are not false, we know the evidence is damning, so even if he were right and this was a conspiracy, it doesn't change the facts of the issue. They don't all of a sudden become innocent in their actions because someone conspired against them.
