A quran ruled world? What does that even mean? Do you mean sharia law? If so, the answer is obvious - life would suck. There would be no personal freedoms and no personal dignity. Living in a police state whether it be under sharia or under martial law is repulsive.

Sure, because it'll be much harder for the woman to divorce her husband before he kills her. It'll also be easier for pedophiles to marry their victims. Daughters will learn to behave themselves after a few of them get executed by their family. It'll be legal to beat your wifes and children. Pig farms would be put out of business. Instead of hearing church bells, we'd hear the call for prayer five times a day, every day. You won't have the freedom of being an athiest. You either convert or die. They'll make Nazi Germany look like a walk in the park for Jews compared to what they'll do if they get control of Israel.

I don't ever hear Church Bells.

But for the most part, you are right. This is scary and heaven forbid this ever happens here.

Ok everyone, just be..you know, normal. This nation has not been founded on Islam, nor will it ever, our country is not like middle eastern countries. Those countries have been founded on that set of thinking for thousands of years, from the beginning really. I think you're all getting a little ahead of yourselves & not thinking clearly. I think you all know deep down inside that our country would never base things on that mode of thinking or religion. I mean, really? You can't really think that in all honesty that would ever happen. I don't care what you hear or read, it's not realistic.

In some towns, the local church has automated bells that ring on the hour between a certain time in the morning after sunrise and a certain time in the evening. In my home town, it rings at noon. All depends on local regulations and local church leaders. My hometown church's bells also ring for church service; mass, funeral, or wedding. Modern churches have speakers and an electronic system so they can adjust the volume of the bells to be more considerate of the neighbors. I miss the sound of the natural bells. To me, they sounded better than the electronic bells and easier on the ears. They could be quite musical depending on the occasion. Much better than five times a day call to prayer. I've been to muslim countries. It can get harsh. Not just from the sound, but also from the dirty violent looks you get for not heeding the call to prayer.

They're trying to get their way all across the world. Here's one example in the Phillipines
Prime Suspect in Philippine Massacre Surrenders - Asia | Travel | Map - FOXNews.com
Don't forget the violence they commit in Russia (shooting school children in the back as they run away), Spain, France, and England.

But I don't see how that has to do w/the worry that Islam will one day rule this country. That guy is going to be prosecuted, right? Same thing here, if someone tries something like that our government is not just going to let it slide. It's just not going to happen, ever. You guys can rest easy.
