Wrong. We do know that it had been planned for quite some time. That is no secret. It was KSM who was the mastermind, and he took it to Osama B.L. We know that Clinton had intelligence that they were planning to use commercial aircraft to fly into skyscrapers.

It doesn't matter anyway. You people are making something out of nothing. I'm sure she meant since 9/11. I didn't watch the video, but was she talking about Ft. Hood? Yeah...thought so. She meant since 9/11.

You people are always so damn eager to smear Fox News that you make absolute fools of yourselves.

He had copies of the intel in a desk drawer?

Was he briefed on it? What were the overall conclusions from (CIA, State, DOD) analysts at the time?

Hindsight is easy, ain't it?

P.S. The planning for the 9/11 attacks were done in Hamburg, Germany. But I'm sure all you Clinton blamers knew that.

Default The 9/11 "Truthers" are back!

Because that intelligence was not immediately shared with the new administration. You people are so forgetful. The Clinton administration shared very little of what they knew with the new administration. This all came out in the investigations that followed.

Why are we rehashing this old news because of a silly comment on Fox that no doubt has been taken totally out of context? It's obvious she meant since 9/11, and I know who this woman is. She is no dummy.

You people just can't stand Fox, and will use anything, no matter how silly, to attempt to smear them.

This is really pathetic.

That's a crock. Sensitive, relevant intelligence is NOT kept from an incoming President. Where the hell you get that from?

Matter of fact incoming President's are very throughly briefed long before they take office. Obama was given his first intel brief shortly after the election.

You people forgot, on the left, that you opposed the president from the get-go. What do you think that entailed? I'll help you. It involved lawyers and time. It took longer than it should have because he had to fight in court because of stupid litigation that was baseless.

Meanwhile back on the ranch:

Quote:
Meanwhile, the mastermind of the World Trade Center bombing was still on the run—and up to no good. We’d learned his name—Ramzi Yousef—within weeks after the attack and discovered he was planning more attacks, including the simultaneous bombing of a dozen U.S. international flights. Yousef was captured in Pakistan in February 1995, returned to America, and convicted along with the van driver, Eyad Ismoil. A seventh plotter, Abdul Yasin, remains at large. We later learned from Yousef that his Trade Center plot was far more sinister. He wanted the bomb to topple one tower, with the collapsing debris knocking down the second. The attack turned out to be something of a deadly dress rehearsal for 9/11; with the help of Yousef’s uncle Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, al Qaeda would later return to realize Yousef’s nightmarish vision.

Ohh but we put him in prison. It was real effective. In fact so effective Obama plans to do the same with KSM and his cohorts. That's the definition of 9/10 mentality.

Gee, well that's sure funny, because there was a big flap over this when GWB, four months into his first term, made a comment about wanting to get serious about terrorism, that he was tired of [us] just "swatting flies", and asked what we knew about Al Qaeda and terrorism, etc. He received in a morning briefing at his ranch the famous report (that they wanted to use commercial aircraft to fly into buildings).

Big flap over this (in the "blogosphere"), because some uninformed idiots tried to make it seem like this was an emergency briefing he was receiving, when in fact it was not; it was info he had requested, and Condoleezza Rice spoke to this specific memo and of the intelligence it contained and confirmed it was not new. She also confirmed that they had received very little from the Clinton administration on terrorist activities.

Remember, Clinton and Madeline "NotsoBright" didn't do anything about the Cole bombing either, and simply referred to it as "criminal" and "cowardice". They did not call it terrorism.

According to KSM, he started to think about attacking the United States after Yousef returned to Pakistan following the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
Quote:
KSM acknowledges formally joining al Qaeda, in late 1998 or 1999, and states that soon afterward, Bin Ladin also made the decision to support his proposal to attack the United States using commercial airplanes as weapons.
