why leave the guns at home? seriously ... I'd like to think that as loonie as some of us can be, we wouldn't start shooting each other, especially for those of us who come unarmed because we don't own guns.

I agree. I honestly think that as heated as some of these debates can get; underneath it all, many of us are decent folks who care about the direction that our country is headed. We may not see eye to eye on all issues but I believe that we can actually sit down and have a respectful discourse over lunch or dinner if we were to meet in person.
(Although there are a FEW posters that should stay at home but I'm not naming any names )
