It only takes 1 min. to send a thank you to our troops...you ca't choose who it is sent to, but it will show we support them where ever they are...even if you are against the war, you could at least support them who went to fight for freedom!

I just did this, thanks for the link!

I hope you really choose to support the troops by supporting the tax and not running up the deficit that would make you a true patriot. Sending them a thank you card is just a wimp symbolic gesture that doesn't equal a bucket of spit.

Should you not be demanding a tax increase to pay for more helicopters etc ? US troops running short of water is an absolute disgrace when the reason is a shortage of choppers.

Would not those in harm's way at least appreciate a note, no matter how simple or short? Something to show some support, maybe some appreciation?

As to this tax, my understanding is that Obey, etal. is proposing this tax, even on those making as less as $30k, as a proxy for their opposition against the war itself. That to my thinking is true hypocrisy.

BTW, thanks to the troops, their families/friends, and to Xerox for this means to say thanks. For those not aware, this program has been going on since June 2006,,, yes 2006,,, and will, per Xerox, "continue as long as their is a need".
