Domestic abuse should no be ignored just because its:

1) a woman abusing a man
2) celebrities are involved
3) the people involved have lots of money$$$

I understand that Tiger is probably trying to protect his wife but abuse/violence should not be tolerated by our society no matter who is involved.
According to Tiger, speculation like this is disgusting and not at all what happened.

If there were scratches on his face and the wife was swinging a golf club at him/his car - I would put that into the beat down category.

So...he couldn't have received "scratches/cuts" on his face when he hit the tree?

Who says she was swinging a golf club at him?

Links please.

Don't you remember when JonBenet Ramsey was killed, her parents managed to avoid talking to the police for weeks. I could never figure that one out.

If one spouse if clubbing another with a golf club it definitely is police business. From my many years of watching COPS I believe that police are obligated to press domestic violence charges even if the spouse doesn't cooperate.

Actually there were police crawling all over her home and talking to the parents that very day. The police messed up critical evidence.

Oh, gawd.....is this going to turn into a "what should be done about domestic abuse" thread? Until someone has something substantial to go on--and it looks like that isn't going to happen, given that Tiger chooses to keep the whole thing private--it's pure speculation on everyone's part.

The police would have "met" with me and I wouldn't have been given the opportunity to refuse.

WTH is up with this?
tiger is a god in the sheeple's mind..how can a golfer become a god beats me

Sorry to go OT here. The police talked to the parents together on and off during the day Dec 1996 not following procedure. Police conduct the first official interview April 1997.
