Ron, I couldn't vote since your question on the poll was very much different than the thread title question. Luckily I read that question before I voted although your question is about a problem I don't take meds for. Were you trying to fool us?
I don't but there are several posters on CD that should be on medication daily!!! There are several posters on CD that attack people personally on their beliefs and call them ugly names! It shocks me to be honest! I'm not one to start calling names but there are a few people on here who have driven me to fight back occasionally! I swear, some people really need help with their anger issues, and medication may just be their best bet!
Due to high cost of healthcare in the U.S., i had to go "Old-School", went down to Mexicali and got my "lobotomy-did"! That damn insurance provider jacked up my copays for lithium through the roof. Thanks Aetna.....
(What a stupid, pretentious and condescending poll!)
I rarely will even take an asperin. WAY too mnay people a popping pills like prozac.
Some people do have legitimate reasons to need anti-depressants. My husband is paralyzed and takes them as do many people who have chronic health issues to deal with. Although there are many people who do abuse mind altering prescription drugs---the ones that doctor shop to get them---I'm not about to stand in judgment about what someone else can or cannot deal with emotionally. That's for their doctor to decide.
