"White Guilt" Embrace it or get rid of it?

I find it rather silly that those on the right are saying that liberals came up wit "white guilt". The term "white guilt" is basically made up by conservatives at an attempt to slam liberals who think different than they do on racial issues. For example many whites (especially northern whites) who marched with blacks in the 60's during the Civil Rights movement were often accused of having "white guilt".

Yes. It's a way of attacking somebody for having common decency, something the GOP clearly loathes.

Theres a different between having common decency and being defensive, protectionist, and partial.

Whites do not seem to care if minorities practice discrimination, or if they are unqualified for a job, or if a company hires a very high number of blacks. In a liberals mind its justified because "blacks have it so bad, why should whites complain".

I am all for being decent to other people, but not at the ridiculous levels that the left seems to advocate.

If anyone brings up crime rates, infidelity rates, rates of bastard children, religious groups, affirmative action, graduation rates, or anything else that might remotely degrade a minority. The liberal left is right there to make excuses and try to rationalize everything. But for some reason, the same decency isn't shown to other groups.

Honestly, I believe that white people have been preached so many times how evil they are, they now absolutely hate themselves. Its very sad.

Is it not true that any race could be perceived as such. And why on earth would i feel guilty. Leave that past race issues alone, it only stirs up controversey. I'm proud of being who i am which is a white women, and body have a problem with that so be it. We should all embrace the essence of who we are.
