there's some good ones going here. I think every single thing is "associated" with it somehow. All machines use oil in some way, shape or form that were used to make everything.
On top of that.......it took vehicles just to get the materials there for your house to be built = OIL.

Yes, we are dependent on oil...probably lots of foreign oil. Lots of people are upset about that. Are these same people as passionate about being dependent on foreign food? How about foreign electronics? Clothing?

If oil runs out......or supply runs low enough that WW3 becomes necessary?
Either way....it's a GREAT excuse for new innovation / technology and alternative fuel sources......therefore, a GREAT REASON for unhindered research and development through.....a FREE MARKET and Capitalist ideology......things being squashed a bit more each day.
Suppressed enough to thwart INNOVATION and CREATION.
But, this "could" be what some folks desire, right?

yes big oil wants to keep the addiction going. till it's to late
