No! Most of our police force, were the bullies in school.

I trust our Sheriff, He was elected. I do not trust our appointed police chief.

I don't get myself in trouble, but I don't trust the police one iota, for reasons that have been discussed many times.

I am weary of any powerful entity by nature. I recognize the police are composed of human beings and as such, they are fallible- prone to error, temptations, greed, and arrogance. I rest easy knowing there is Miranda and the Constitution.

Having said that, the police have a very tough, thankless job. They are the first to get blamed for everything. Most do a decent job and they have helped me on occassion.

Imagine life without them.
