We would still be in Iraq and Afghanistan (face it, oil owns this nation)
The financial markets and housing crisis would still have happened.
The only real difference? We wouldn't have Bush-isms like "strategery."
I won't speculate as to what could have happened but as a lifelong Floridian I will say that the people of Florida did duly elect Albert Gore to the Presidency in 2000.

I would say more people would be working right now. Just look at this place. Nothing for people to do but spend their days online thinking of what ifs. Geesh.
