P.S. Brazil is a 3rd world cesspool filled with corruption and crime. The crime in Rio is so bad the IOC is rethinking their awarding of the Olympics; kidnappings, car jackings and pickpockteing are rampant.
Brazil is a lot more advanced than the media would have you believe. Crime is a problem, but its getting better.

Btw, you're conspicuously absent from the Swiss minaret thread. Can't find a way to blame republicans, huh?

Not sure what point you're trying to make. Our worst "ghettos" have color cable tv, a microwave and heat. Their worst ghettos don't even have running water. Corruption and crime is rampant over there.

Most of those TVs, cell phones, cars etc were bought on credit so they're not really owned. I am speaking about crime. Also, the trend on Brazil is up. For the US, it's sideways or down.

Whether conspicuously or not, I'm absent from a lot of threads that are completely dumb. Doesn't look like I'll be a part of this one much longer either...
