Bush-41 negotiated NAFTA and it was passed in the House by 234-200. Those 234 votes in favor were 132 Republicans and 102 Democrats. Clinton did sign it and took a ration of **** from Dems for doing so. It didn't get the required number of votes in the Senate to pass as a treaty thus making it an agreement, not a true treaty. NAFTA is a Republican "treaty" passed because of the Republicans in the House and signed by the Republican-lite President.

Wow. Talk about going to extremes. You know, there is some room to negotiate between extreme capitalism and extreme socialism. I admit - the right-wing is doing a good job of convincing some people that if you're in favor of any government intervention whatsoever, you must be a Communist. You show complete economic ignorance. NAFTA and trade with China is Capitalism. Thanks to Fox News talking points everyone thinks Capitalism is no government regulation on the free market. While it is true that no regulation is an element of capitalism so is free markets like NAFTA and the WTO, and the free flow of labor which you people dont support. So therefore you ARE the socialist because you want the government to intervene to prevent free trade and the free flow of labor.
