I keep trying to figure out which they are using these days so this link really tickled me. The article starts out talking about global warming and then shifts to climate change. At any rate, it is typical MSM garbage about all the adapting we must do before climate change takes things over. A long list of the money needed to make the necessary adaptations and what some places have done, already, is near the end of the article. I hope not too many of these people are disappointed when they find that they have spent so much money unnecessarily.

Global warming may require higher dams, stilts - Yahoo! News (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091204/ap_on_sc/sci_climate_adapting - broken link)

Default Is it global warming or climate cha

Climate Change relates to level of change in constituency support for a political figure.

Whereas, Global Warming relates to the level of Christian fear of their perceived "upcoming" Apocalypse. (The Rupture)

I don't think I believe I in Global Warming.

I do believe in climate change though. I remember when I was like 8 or 9 (10 or 11 years ago), it used to start snowing early November. Now it is STILL sunny and warm on the 4th day of December.

Also, this summer has not been warm. Second of all, it did not start snowing up here last winter until like January and it stayed until April or May.

It does feel the like the Earth is kinda off.

Please dont think I am just some crazy liberal. I am basing this off from what I see.

Don't feel bad. Scientists with Ph. D.s are using similar anecdotal methods to gauge climate change.

It doesn't matter which it is. The point is all that carbon dioxide we are emitting can't be good for the atmosphere regardless of global warming. I am all for limiting emissions. America is so wasteful and we often put are comforts before what is best for the world. I am from Spain and they are no where near as wasteful.

"it feels like the earth is kind of off"

Exactly what does it feel like when the Earth is kind of on?

why? Why is emitting CO2 bad for the atmosphere?

Considering that CO2 now makes up less than 400 ppm and when the earth had its greatest animal and plant diversity the CO2 level was in excess of 5000ppm?

Why?

Here is the truth.

Global Warming failed to capture the imagination of the worlds population. It gets cold and snows at odd times and people say "I thought it was getting warmer"?

So the politicians did what politicians do and they hired focus groups to find words that capture the imagination of the populous. “Climate Change” sounded better, and provided greater latitude. Warming is bad, cooling is climate change too. Wet is change, dry is change.

Change in general is opposed by human nature.

Presto, new word, more people buy in.

It’s the same failed science. It is the same small set of “scientists” who control what we know about this failed science, but we have a new code word that is scary and therefore we have to do something…. Because the failed science proves it.

It's climate change. Right-wingers like to keep calling it "global warming" because that gives them the opportunity to shiver on a cold night and say sarcastically "I'd like to see some of this 'global warming' they talk about", as though they are saying something profound.

Whatever you want to call it, the ones with beachfront homes in Florida won't be laughing much longer.
