Would you be ok with me putting up some big muslim decorations next to the nativity and some jewish ones, kwanza(sp?) ones, ateist ones, and all other religions or non religions represented in america?
Religion has no place on the steps of city hall except for an individual praying.
No, they would not.
They be screaming on the top of their lungs to take it off. They would be and . Hell, they might even get up themselves and do it.
Imagine if the atheists had their signs there. Or an Islamic sign. Oh baby! I would sit in the back eating popcorn enjoying it.
Read the article. Denver City Hall DOES have a "proper" nativity scene.
5) Wooden stable covered with glass to protect the contents: lots of hay and eight figures depicting the Nativity scene, complete with Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus, three Wise Men and two shepherds (their hands outstretched, but holding no staffs), as well as a donkey, a camel, three sheep and a very large cow. And on top, an angel.
City hall also has other displays with the traditional Santa, reindeer, elves etc...
It's Christmas, it's a pagan ritual, and ...... no one has ever gone broke trying to underestimate the taste of the american public......(remember the pet rock, ?????? and that guy made a fortune!!!)

Yeah can you imagine the scene if a bunch of pagan symbols were hung outside the courthouse? Or worse Muslims. They would be swearing the world was over.

Not one tax penny should be spent on anything religious.
Atheists are not the only ones who pay taxes so why should you guys get to decide what can and cannot go on public property? Also, why do you care as you don't even live in the US? From my understanding, Europe is a lot more secular so you should fit right in there.
Thats OK but you better hold on to your britches if you say Merry Christmas.
Really? Why should tax dollars fund Muslim schools when Christianity is not even allowed in the public schools? Where is the outrage at this proposed violation of "separation of church and state" or does that only apply to Christianity?
