You might see uniformed soldiers coming back to base from manuevers with their guns. And like most anywhere, you might see hunters.

Hardly an NRA wet dream.

Maybe they are just too tired to fight since 73.2% of them work in the service industry.

No problem. There is hardly any violent crime, so you would need to go around strapped.

There is a a fair amount of petty crime here and there (Zurich) as Switzerland does have one helluva heroin problem.

I would live there but I can barely understand Swiss-German.

There was a youtube clip of two guys going to the range, each with a Sig assault rifle strapped to their back in a motorcycle. It is a cultural thing with the Swiss. They don't have a central government, operate within cantons, and many don't even know who the president is. It is as if a piece of late 1700's America had a thought transfer to them. They are neutral in their foreign affairs, yet have both natural and man-made resources to defend themselves well against assault and occupation.

Picture extracted from:

Gun politics in Switzerland - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It is verified accurate. The products on the shelf are consistent with a Swiss store, unless of course this guy is walking around Paris with an assault rifle.

The NRA does not represent gunowners. They are merely loyal puppies of the jackboot BATFE.

Regardless, try doing that in NYC, see what happens.

Did you bother reading the article you linked? It discusses how difficult it is to get a carry permit in Switzerland, and states that that is a member of the military carrying an unloaded gun. Random citizens do not walk around with guns like that in Switzerland, have you ever actually been there?
