According to Murphy's Law one day there will be a big earthquake on teh San Andreas and everything east of California will drop off into the Atlantic.

Well if I had to live there I would be a bit off my rocker as well: great place to visit though. We lived in Marin County during the mid 60s until 70; talk about an experience...!!!!
