Actually, I have an exception. I agreed with Cheney when he said this about same-sex marriage:
"I think, you know, freedom means freedom for everyone. I think people ought to be free to enter into any kind of union they wish, any kind of arrangement they wish."
Yes but it is only because HIS DAUGHTER was gay. Most people on the right think it cannot happen to them but when they find out their kid is gay, they begin to think about gay marriage in a different light.

I know, and I agree with you. Still, at least he's talking about it. There are other conservatives with gay kids - Phyllis Schlafly is one - who refuse to say a word about the subject in public.

The Bush administration bashed the Clinton administration for four years (on the recession, on national security, on the integrity of the office, etc.) until his re-election was certain. Clinton bashed H.W.' s administration for four years until he was re-elected.
Do you see the pattern?
