Cheney Offers Support For Gay Marriage (VIDEO)
Yes but it is only because HIS DAUGHTER was gay. Most people on the right think it cannot happen to them but when they find out their kid is gay, they begin to think about gay marriage in a different light.

I assure you, AnUnidentifiedMale. If Cheney's daughter had not been gay, he would have also been screaming about how it is "immoral" and how "marriage should be between a man and a woman".

I know, and I agree with you. Still, at least he's talking about it. There are other conservatives with gay kids - Phyllis Schlafly is one - who refuse to say a word about the subject in public.

I'm reminded of Nancy Reagan who came out in favor of stem cell research. Sure - it could have helped her husband; otherwise, I'm confident that she would have been against it.

Bush didn't have to. It is quite clear from how stridently and completely he went about destroying everything that Clinton had accomplished how much he 'respected' the office.

One of my personal favorites:

Bush cancelled Clinton's antiterror directives on 2-13-01 - Democratic Underground

Oh, come on, Sanrene! I know you aren't ignorant; so, you must be flamethrowing.

You know... You know that every president bashes the previous administration.
The Bush administration bashed the Clinton administration for four years (on the recession, on national security, on the integrity of the office, etc.) until his re-election was certain. Clinton bashed H.W.' s administration for four years until he was re-elected.

Do you see the pattern?

Follow it all the way back to the dawn of the American nation. The pattern holds.

If he is a chickenhawk lying punk then what does that make the ultimate liar Obama?

Obama has them all beat with the lying by a long shot.

Stated that the Iraqis were "providing bomb-making expertise and advice to the Al Qaeda organization."

"Saddam had an established relationship with Al Qaeda, providing training to Al Qaeda members in the areas of poisons, gases, making conventional weapons."
- Cheney in October 2003.

Cheney said Saddam "had long established ties with Al Qaeda."
- June 14, 2004.
Need I go on ????

And this is the same Dick Cheney, who was HEAVILY responsible for our attacking Iraq in the first place !!! Remember Dick Cheney's PNAC, and their quest for Pax Americana ????

A war which was a COMPLETE MISTAKE, and has drained American resources IMMENSELY !!!

So now you expect people to ACTUALLY CARE about what the ABOVE Dick Cheney has to say about Obama's view of America???

Mr. Halliburton himself ???

The man whose former company won BILLIONS and BILLIONS in no-bid contracts ???

Sorry ... but Dick Cheney's opinions are about as useful as Sarah Palin's.
