Gateway Pundit falsely suggests Jennings' organization handed out explicit safe-sex booklet to children | Media Matters for America

Turns out Jennings group (GLSEN) wasn't even the one that handed out the brochures.

All of these smears come from Gateway Pundit. They're running a campaign against Jennings because he is homosexual and people can't seem to handle that.

It seems this same topic is posted nearly every day, isn't it? I would think that if there was some truth to it, someone who attended could confirm that these things were said. But it appears that this is just another attempt to smear Obama and anyone associated with him. And since Jennings is gay and is working with children, that makes him an easy target.

I don't know why people have to continually make up situations to be offended by. There is plenty of offence to go around IRL as it is.

Is anyone actually suggesting these topics be taught to kids in school? No? Then shut up and find something constructive to do.

Is it. It's purely because he is homosexual and the smear campaign they have started is absolutely disgusting.

FWIW - in the 9th grade we had a health class where you could ask any question you wanted about sex and safe sex, and yes, spit/swallow, urinating, all that stuff was asked and answered. Better teens know how to do it safely if they're going to do it at all, especially if they have uptight parents they can't talk to.

The homosexuals on this thread are batting a thousand. Not a single known gay person has stepped up to the plate and said that "this is wrong to teach kids, no matter who authored it."

Fisting for God's sake! Your abject silence is ****ing nasty and very revealing.

The Homosexual Agenda is alive and well. I don't care how many times you deny it.

What actually happened was students and teachers attended a conference, and were allowed to ask questions about sex and safe sex.

Questions were asked about fisting and watersports and they were answered and advised on the safety of those activites.

They also gave out a book about being gay and a teen. THE HORROR!
There are some who refuse to accept that their kids already know about this stuff. The days of adolescent innocence, if they ever really existed, are long gone.
I see nothing wrong with treating teenagers with respect by answering their questions, addressing their concerns and by giving them the tools they need to protect themselves and others.
Absolutely it should be done age-appropriately, but, the information should and needs to be made available to those who want it.

What part is most wrong: The acts themselves, the fact that kids asked the questions, or the fact that they got answers.

When teenagers are attending an event on sex and safe sex, sponsored by a gay/lesbian organization, and ask a question about the safety of fisting, you think it shouldn't be answered?

They are at a conference about sex for chirsts sakes.

All of the above. The fact that you'd have to ask that is pretty sick.

Who the hell invented fisting anyway?

I don't think the bible condemned it.

It must have been "invented" in recent times.
