Do you realize you oppose every effort to reduce our dependency to foreign oil? I don't think you do. When you fight the "great conspiracy" you are fighting to maintain status quo, which is to keep us dependent on oil. You are fighting someone else's fight (oil lobby) and you don't even know it.
You're way, way off base. First of all none of this has anything to do with dependence on foreign oil. We have our own sources of energy here but the corrupt marxist administration will not allow the US to drill for it's own oil or use any other natural source that is on our property. So WHO doesn't really care? That's right, the buttwipes in Washington don't care, that's who.

Find me two similar fans especially ones that are equal CFM and I'll give you breakdown of the real cost is. I know there is uses for solar, certainly many things are useful. The attic fan is good one especially if you consider self installation, most wouldn't be able to install standard fan because they can't run electric. Outdoor lighting is another, again probably cheaper with self installation which is easy because there is nothing to install except mounting it. These are all small applications and won't make much of a difference though.

Oh, yes, it has plenty to do with foreign oil.

We got some oil, but it seems impossible to get private oil companies to extract it, knowing it is in shale (Colorado) or pockets (Bakken) and the cost of extraction is more than what they can sell it for. Yes, the big oil had permits to drill in CO, and they threw in the towel when OPEC dropped the price and they realized they wouldn't make any profit.

Do you have something against fuel efficient cars? Is there something wrong in burning less fuel? Oil WILL RUN OUT, it is just a matter of time. Like I said, you're fighting someone else's fight.

in five to ten years, I really think this discussion is going to be seen as archaic. Algae fuel is going to take over. I really really believe that.
