The right is on absolutely no moral high ground of valuing life. Clean up your own house before dragging your broom into everyone else's.
Well, first off none of the positions you stated are mine, obviously someone who equates drilling for oil with devaluing human life, is not someone who is going to be able to have an honest rational debate. Lets see how it works for you..... Someone who supports every left wing bleeding heart government program in the name of helping others all the while staunchly supporting the slaughter of millions of innocent children. Doesn't look like your moral high ground is very solid to say the least.

Having a abortion does NOT devalue human life as much as a unwanted baby who is abused, starved or mentally destroyed.
Abortions should only be carried out when the "baby" is not yet formed. Destroying unspecific cells is no more murder than having your appendix taken out.

That certainly is a common rational.

The part that proposed this would get lower approval ratings.

Welfare would collapse and people would learn to be responsible, start sterilizing themselves or something.

If abortion was illegal it would be a disaster... more welfare, more liberals, more jobless, more criminals, more bad stuff that would of been dead if they were aborted earlier... Its a bit ironic that liberals want to decrease their numbers but hey... The only thing I am against is late-term abortion, at that point you are basically killing an innocent human being... they should of made that decision 5 months ago... at that time, they should of just of given him/her up to adoption, they are already more than halfway there...

OMG...I have NEVER read such a naive, irrational, IRRESPONSIBLE post on ANY message board before. Are you really such a fool that you believe this is how it's done? I KNOW there ARE women who are totally blase about having an abortion but they are the MINORITY. Most women AGONIZE over the decision, then sometimes they have to be battered and abused by people like you and others who tout their holier than thou views outside abortion clinics.

You, and others like you don't have a clue....not a CLUE.

Any sane person would agree that late term abortion is wrong on so many levels.
Making abortion illegal is also wrong on so many levels too.
