"FreedomWorks funders have included Philip Morris and foundations controlled by the conservative Scaife family, according to tax filings and other records. [10][11]It also receives funding through the sale of insurance policies through which policyholders automatically become members of FreedomWorks."
What's the matter, you can't keep your mind off homosexual sex acts? The people are going to protest just like left wingers have for years without the usual violence and property destruction we see from the left. WE are going to use the hussein obama's rules for radicals. Fight fire with fire.
Liberalsim has led us right up to a communist country and the destruction of America. We have had enough of the insane left wingers.
Lol, YOUR post brought up "homosexual sex acts". But projecting is the RW way isnt it?
It's a joke that you all fancy yourselves protesters. You all dont have the first creative clue about you. You have to be TOLD by a corporate ENTITY that this is what you want to do. None of you has the first bit of independent intelligence that could lead you to even see the patterns and research the psychology and history, let alone actually write, a "Rules for Radicals." Well, maybe Dick Armey does... but his version would be hideously different.
Armey Leaves Lobby Firm, Citing Negative Attention Brought by FreedomWorks
By Zachary Roth - August 14, 2009, 4:16PM
Dick Armey, the former House Majority Leader, is leaving his job with top Washington lobbying firm DLA Piper, citing negative attention that the firm is receiving thanks to the role of Armey's corporate-backed outfit, FreedomWorks, in turning out protesters to shut down town hall meetings on health care.
In addition to fronting [FreedomWorks], Dick Armey is a senior policy adviser at a law firm called DLA Piper. DLA Piper just happens to have received $830,000 this year, so far, from a giant pharmaceutical firm called Medicines Co.
In 2008 Medicine Co. paid Dick Armey's firm DLA Piper $1,530,000.
In 2007 Medicine Co. paid Dick Armey's firm DLA Piper $1,300,000.
In 2006 Medicine Co. paid Dick Armey's firm DLA Piper $1,700,000.
In 2005 Medicine Co. paid Dick Armey's firm DLA Piper $740,000.
Like the rest of the GOP bigwigs, Armey is a crook. Sad thing is that the tea party folks are doing the bidding of corporate big wigs who sit in their offices while accepting govt. handouts with tax breaks, write offs, etc.
Can you find any numbers like this for what they are paying Dirty Harry Reid and some of his buddies? Surely they would be easy to find in 10 years after Dirty Harry is gone from the Senate and just working at lobbying and not making laws to help the Pharma people.
Go tea baggers!
We demand our right to choose which healthcare insurance company will screw us over!
We demand our right to be denied coverage for pre existing conditions!
We demand our right to over pay for medication while those dumb Canadians pay half what we do!
We demand to pay for coverage that outpaces the rate of inflation!
I think it is more that we demand free choice, something the left loons don't see as a valuable.
It is the lefty, looney sheep, the ones that think government is the ned to all life's problems that are misguided.
Just as Reagan pointed out the obvious,
“Government is not the solution to our problem; government is the problem.â€

Anyone who thinks liberalism has led us up to be a communist country obviously never visited one. If they had they would see this country is in no way like the USSR or PRC. What has liberalism brought us? Well for a short run on the top of my head: womens right to vote (Wilson 1919), Federal Deposit Insurance (FDR), Social Security (FDR - before it, the elderly were the poorest group in the US), Fair Labor Standards Act (FDR), GI Bill of Rights (FDR), Civil Rights Act (Johnson), Occupation Safety Act (Johnson), Voting Rights Act (Johnson), Clean Water Act (Democratic Congress override of Reagan veto), Americans With Disabilities Act (Democratic Congress), Family Leave Act (Clinton).
Don't forget Clinton converted the largest budget deficit in American history to the largest surplus and under Clinton the US had the longest economic expansion in American history and lowest unemployment in 30 years.
I think those who think liberalism is the same as communism have a lot to learn and don't know the meaning of the term which can be summed up as those who favor policies promoting progress and reform, who are tolerant and broadminded. Liberalism is what permits all who are citizens to vote, not just white men of property.
"As Mankind becomes more liberal, they will be more apt to allow that all those who conduct themselves as worthy members of the community are equally entitled to the protections of civil government. I hope ever to see America among the foremost nations of justice and liberality." GEORGE WASHINGTON
So no proof that Insurance industry interests are behind the Tea Party movement. Anyone? Anyone?
You won't find them directly. In terms of whom you would find directly, here's an interesting look at the very early days of the so-called tea party movement and the people pulling the strings behind the scenes...
