Watch what you wish for. There are still three more years left of these dopes. First they have to finish ruining health care, and implementing the huge taxes coming to pay for the cap and trade nonsense,
and when we squawk loud enough to worry them they will be after the guns to save us from ourselves.

Coming to take our guns away?
Yeah, well that was just the same silly fear-mongering stupidity that shows up on this board on a daily basis.

As always, it comes to nothing and the only result is that a whole bunch of "gobmint" fearing idiots were panicked into rushing out and paying inflated prices for guns and ammo that could have bought for a whole lot less if they just waited until things calmed down again. Clearly there's a sucker born every minute.

When people don't have access to that money or positions, they will always make money where they can.

Make a resource scarce and you will always make a windfall.

just like the people who had fear of the swine flu because the government told us it was the end of all of us and had plans to vaccinate you or throw you in jail but look what happened when people like "fear mongerors" figured that one out...i guess its not the end of us anymore right?....they arent screaming too much about throwing people in jail too much anymore are they?

Hmmm, I don't recall any such plans. I certainly didn't have a fear of the swine flu. It was obvious to me from the beginning it was likely less dangerous than the regular flu - and that information WAS reported in the news. Since the news networks and newspapers tend to have more viewer/readers when there is BIG news than when there is LITTLE news however, this information was largely ignored (a few stories about, but overwhelmed by more sensationalist stories). The government was simply trying to "be safe" about the issue.
