The article explains how the RECESSION is stopping US innovation. You know the one that started in Dec 2007.

The only people here who agree with you are the idiots who also chose not to read the article.
I totally agree with you.
And 'tonyandclaire89' seems to do that all the time.

I'm happy to see I'm not the only one who sees this.

It's not the recession that's killing innovation. What's killing innovation is the Democrat Party and President Obama. They are not kindling the human spirit to create better ways. This is not how you create innovation. This is not how you inspire people to innovate: when you are on the verge of passing legislation that will destroy the private sector, raise taxes, and punish achievement… and have a pay czar out there. If you succeed too much, the pay czar is going to be knocking on your door and telling you how much you can pay yourself and your other employees. It is not the recession killing innovation. In fact, innovation is largely key coming out of recessions. If there's no innovation going on out there, it's because nobody is being inspired to it and we know why: The Democrat Party and President Obama."

the above quote sums it out perfectly....GOD help us we still have three years left....
You provide a link that claims the recession to be the causal factor, then you argue against your own link? LMAO! That's just too rich for words.

The price of Viagra went up 3 times during the Bush years but not once since Obama took office.

We can all sit here and blame whoever we like and if you want you can continue to hold onto that thought for the rest of your life. I have lost my house in this economy after struggling for 10 years in a country that was not managed correctly. You will not hear me complain once about my loss because after I let it all go my eyes were opened up and I found how to truly connect to my spirit.

So if you want to be the type of person putting blame on this administration then you may as well video tape yourself and watch your recording for the rest of your life. That type of mentality will get you no where.

If you are upset with the economy fine, who isn't. I take it if you posted on this website you obviously are not homeless. I was within a month of accepting that I would be moving from family member and friends homes for months, but by allowing that worst fear into the present moment I accepted it and that is when the magic happened. The stress went away and new doors opened up for me.

Yes we basically are in a depression whether anyone wants to call it that or not, but the Obama administration did not start this. The trail to this depression started before the year 2000 and at the point after 9/11/2001 we as people in this country found we didn't have a say in anything. War was started which brought whole focus to only that. Government was blind sided by Bush pushing for war and from that point on our demise lead down a staggering path.

So sit there and grumble till the day you die or step up and see what you can do to make the world a better place. Don't sit there and focus on a place to blame because that isn't going to solve any problems.

There is a part of me that wants to tell people like you that if you want to complain about inspiration then you should keep your complaints to yourself. But had you of done that I would not have been inspired to share my viewpoint. So my friend, you have stirred the mud and after mud settles typically life grows out of that mud.
