Is there a common thread between the New York Terrorist Trials and the Navy Seals facing trial due to an alledged fat lip or are we just showing the rest of the world what our political system is really about?
Yes, I do see miss placed sympathies on both issues coming from one little dude. They can slit the American soldiers throats and we are to apologize that we made them do it.
The Iraqis play by the rules right?
It seems Obama would like to build a friendship relationship with the Iraqis. Wake me and let me know how that works out for him.
Oh darned, a terrorist thug gets punched in the mouth.
Really what they should have done is summarily execute him. He's an ununiformed enemy combatant and should be treated as such.
I hope the Navy SEALS fight the stupid charge to the end. I'm sure the obama administration will make sure their careers are ruined but at least they will be able to sleep at night fighting off such nonsense.

Thereby proving you're no better than the scum we're fighting. Classic!

That's relevant to how we conduct ourselves how?
Or are you in favor of lowering ourselves to the standards of others? Perhaps you'd favor flying planes into buildings loaded with innocent civilians? Beheading people? After all, their behavior would justify us becoming scum, right? America used to be a special place, continue to believe we should act like low life scum and that's exactly what we'll become.
I'm honestly in need of enlightenment as of how Iraqi's came up. The Iraqi's are not our enemies (the insurgent factions most definitely are)
Why again wouldn't we want to have a good relationship with them? Hell, we did it before the first Gulf using Saddam as a check against Iran...
The Navy Seals are trained elite, they captured a wanted suspect. Sometimes I wonder of the civilian government factions (Dem or Rep) ability to actually want to fight the fight. Human rights is a good thing, but you can't have a nice and clean war.

I believe their lying is a bigger issue than punching out some scumbag. If the chain of command tolerates lying there's not going to be a chain of command for very long.
