I don't know, do Caucasians get a bad rap on the dance floor or is the stereotype justified?
Personally, I always thought Vanilla Ice had some moves; likewise, Britney Spears before she put on the baby weight.
What do the rest of you think?
There is some truth in every stereotype. I've seen brothers that can't dance (and promptly made fun of them) but they were the exception -- well, strike that -- these days it ain't really cool to "dance" if you're a dude -- unless you're really young (you know like the dance crews and cheese dances).
Anyway, some people have rhythm, some do not. That's it.

Quite frankly I don't understand why this matters. Why are white people the only group we are allowed to criticize? And why are white people the only group that we aren't allowed to talk about in positive ways?
I don't care if whites don't dance as good as blacks. Why don't we talk about the fact that there have been more white scientists than black scientists?
I guess the only differences some people want to acknowledge are between males and females - although I sometimes wonder if they can even accept those differences. Look at how many times you hear things like, "There's no job that a man can do that a woman can't do equally as well, or even better!" Yeah, right.
Just as there are jobs that are better-suited to men or women, there are certain talents that are found more commonly in certain ethnic backgrounds (and that includes race).
That is nice. So tell me why we aren't allowed to talk about the many things whites are better at?

Wow, that's a big extrapolation for such a trivial matter.
Did you see the video with the people from the Caucasus region dancing?
I would say: Not bad dancers at all.
So, stereotype debunked, we can all move on to the next subject -- like should gay penguins be put in the same habitat in the zoo as straight ones?

Aren't "allowed"? Who's stopping you from saying what you want to say? I guess you're saying you feel uncomfortable talking about the differences between the races, but really, that's something for you to address on your own; it's not anyone else's fault. No one's controlling you, are they?

Get a grip! This is supposed to be a light-hearted thread. If you find the topic of white folks being bad dancers, just think of what other folks feel about the 245612545 threads that complain and criticize minorities. Grow up!
Negroids, homos, who keeps track of what constitutes a slur these days anyway....
