I live in NH and am certainly not liberal. I am fiscally conservative, pro 2nd amendment rights, and socially libertarian. The reason why so many people in NH are fiscally conservative is due to local spending issues because nearly everything at the town level is reliant on the property tax. The problem is that both parties have been spending money like it is going out of style for years. Cheney said that Reagan proved defecits don't matter. Both Reagan and Bush ramped up the defecit by spending excessive amounts on the military-industrial complex. Obama is spending way too much money on government agencies and extra programs that we can't afford right now. "Live Free or Die" is very much alive here and you would know if you lived in the Granite State.
Go ahead and attack Beck because he tells things as they are. You started this thread so surely you can list some of the lies you have heard Beck tell.

Jet, I was enrolled in FICA in 1944 when I started working in my uncle's food store at age 12. Nobody ever told me what it was but they took the money out of my check and paid their share because it was the law. When was that law done away with?
I have been collecting Social Security checks since 1995 and paid into it as a self-employed payee for about 10 more years. I always thought it was the law and my tax lady seemed to, also.
I'm not sure what socialism is but I think that SS is only a form of it. It is having to pay income taxes that are then distributed to those who don't pay any of them that I consider socialism.
If we had taken the hands of Congress out of the SS trust fund in the 1950s when they started dipping from it we would have over $5 trillion in that fund right now and maybe so many wouldn't be so against the system. It is Congress that broke the system.

Excessive limitations on executive pay and reeling in the banksters. How many people like banksters and lawyers? This too shall pass and we will find a more sustainable regulated form of capitalism, but the globalists will continue to be derided due to losses in US jobs via free trade/ NAFTA.

The government has NO right getting into the pay of CEO's of companies.
America will always lose with free trade. We are in the hole something like 75% or so in trade. It wont ever work for us if we allow the trade deficit to continue like this.
We need more small businesses who manufacturing the consumable goods in America.
As a business owner, I grew to having 27 employees under a pro small businesses President.
