Beck is an entertainer, nothing more. And he's proven repeatedly that he'll go to almost any length to generate viewership. The saddest thing about the Beck phenomenon is that millions of otherwise functional Americans tune in to get a daily dose of paranoia, anger, and hatred. And consider that entertaining. Some even think it's informing.

Why do you call them entertainers only? Because you do not like their message? Is this your way of providing solace for yourself so that you can ignore the message?
I think you hear the message very clearly. You do not like what you hear, and it makes you very uncomfortable, therefore you tell yourself, "It's just for entertainment, he doesn't believe this stuff."
This way, it doesn't affect you, and your life.
Unfortunately, your life will, ultimately, be affected by what you choose to ignore.

I'm convinced that fearmongers like Beck and Limnbaugh really do believe their own BS to some extent. But they have to lay it on especially thick to maintain appeal to their audiences.

They are entertainers because the likes of Beck, Rush, Hannity, Coulter and Palin they will say anything that gets them ratings, which means money. it does not matter to them if they are telling half truths or outright lies. When they are called out on their statements they always fall back on the defence that they are only stating their opinion, which folks is what they are doing, they are not giving you fair or balanced information, and if the listener is even halfway informed they know that.

See the liberal ideals are this, you find someone who can speak, line up all the sheep in a crooked line so no one thinks they are behind the other, then control their money, food, housing or whatever you can. Then when the leader speaks, the entire line stands to attention and honors the leaders request.
Even though the leader is a total liar and scam artist, the sheep follow behind the leader sucking their thumbs and waiting for the next toss of food.
It is nuts for someone to believe that Glen Beck is delusional when the two top voices of their party, Al Gore and Baby Bubba Obama are totally insane, proven liars and scam artists yet they follow behind them like little good cult type sheep should.
Beck has been proven correct on many issues, he took down czars for exposing the anti American ways but yet the left wingers see it a different way. They see it as Beck is a problem for Baby Bubba and of course resort to the attacks on him.
If Beck was not correct in pointing out the anti American buddies of Baby Bubba, then I would say he has no value. But he was correct, no questions asked.

Jet, I was enrolled in FICA in 1944 when I started working in my uncle's food store at age 12. Nobody ever told me what it was but they took the money out of my check and paid their share because it was the law. When was that law done away with?
There never was a law that compelled all Americans to participate before they could work in their own country.
