There's what, 195 independent countries in the world? Just imagine if Google tried to post the milestones of each one. Google's an International Company and can pick whatever symbol or icon they feel like. If you don't like it, boycott them.

I thought it was just a jealous vent about how an international company chooses events/people/etc of international importance over purely American ones.
As someone who's actually read Zamenhof's works, I think honoring him is a great thing for Google to do. I mean, Esperanto was originally designed to be an International Language so that we would have a single encompassing language that connects the world. I guess I'm just one who hopes...
