In the United States, you will never go to an NFL game and see large groups of fans waiving Nazi flags, throwing bananas and monkeys at Black players on the field and yelling racist chants. That would be unheard of here. Our country made a big deal when a fan threw a cup at Ron Artest and the players engaged in a fight with the fans yet in Europe, fans routinely yell racist chants at players. ESPN reported on this

This is the reason 3rd world countries exist. Europe has a long standing record of racism and a belief in manifest destiny.

When euro countries criticize Israel though....it's solely because of politics and no previously harbored resentment towards Jews. (as evidenced by centuries of genocides dating back to before the black plague.)
Now that they actually have to live with arabs, they suddenly have racist attitudes towards them.....go figure.
