Well, this proves that Bachman's as good at analogies as she is at anything else: pitiful. That makes her a darling of the hard right.

Just say the right wrong things with some conviction.

Palin and Bachmann = intellectual anti-matter.

I await Palin's follow up speech in which she proclaims that the US needs a commander in chief that will follow the example set by Captain Ahab when leading the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Can a person not post "they don't know what they are talking about" threads ... because they feel that that person "does not know what they are talking about"? I think my wife says some stupid things. If I tell my friends about something she said that was stupid, does that mean that I am afraid of my wife?

This line of thinking reminds me of the MTV or VH1 culture. You know, the one that lives by "Anyone who has a problem with me is obviously just jealous, or a hater".

In that case, many on this board are just afraid or jealous of Obama. Is that the true case? Of course not. People disagree with him. So why does disagreements with Palin or the like (Bachmann) - mean that people are jealous or afraid? No, people just disagree with her or think she says stupid things. Nothing more.

Interesting that you conservos see everything in terms of fear.
