Hitler was also a big fan of National ID cards. If Obama really wants change he needs to destroy this piece of Bush*t legislation.

Actually I was against National ID cards until I realize their usefulness... We could use them instead of conventional state ID cards, passports, green card, VISAs, or even driver's license (and many other forms of ID)... it could all be incorporated into one National ID... It also helps cut down on illegal immigration... no National ID card = NO JOB... I like it... making the ID cards tamper proof will also cut down on having your identity stolen... it can also simply voting to prevent voter fraud... its benefits outweigh any drawbacks for which I think there is very little...

I never really had any problems with it to begin with.

The liberals will never be fine with this for the most part because they know that's how they rig elections by not being required to show ID for registration OR voting.

True, but Republicans rig elections as well... I like it cause it increases security and decreases redundancies... I think state governments are afraid of losing revenue from issuing a bunch of cards at $20-50 a pop... the state governments make a lot of money issuing non-relevant stuff and requiring you to have all this non-relevant stuff...

Exactly, except it will be called your National Healthcare Card, and enforceable by the IRS. It will be far worse than anything ever envisioned by GWB.
