NJ Teacher Tells Girl to Put Away Bible (http://www.myfoxny.com/dpp/news/local_news/new_jersey/091215-nj-teacher-tells-girl-to-put-away-bible - broken link)
NJ teacher tells 3rd grade girl to put away the bible because the bible was not appropriate reading material for quiet time. Bet she wouldn't have had a problem if it had been the Communist Manifesto.

The issue is taken care of, and the teacher was in the wrong. Not all liberals are like her.

It's good the principle apologized, but the teacher should of been reprimanded

New Jersey makes liberal very possible. The age of the teacher wasn't listed either but if it was below 30 the chances that the teacher is a very liberal person are very good since that is the kind of thing that is being taught to students in colleges these days.

EP you know darned well that what I have suggested completes this story. However, you need to try to defend liberal thinking in case parents haven't figured it out yet.

It is obvious the teacher is a liberal...

trying to control people
pushing their belief sytem on others
hatred of religion

Not all liberals are like this, only the angry hateful radical ones

The first two sound amazingly like religious conservatives to me. And I have heard the 'hatred of religion' line spouted too often. Usually it is in reply to someone simply not wanting someone else's religion crammed down their throat. IOW, when someone expresses an opinion counter to another's religion, the other is likely to accuse the first of 'hating' the other's religion. (or hating religion in general)

How is a child peacefully reading a bible on her own time cramming religion down other peoples throats?

Where did I or anyone else make that claim? You made the claim that the teacher must hate religion; I was just explaining when and where I usually read/hear that accusation.
Of course it didn't dawn on you that the teacher, though mistaken, might actually have believed that Bible reading wasn't permitted, did it? You instead automatically jumped to several conclusions that neither of us have a prayer of proving, one way or the other.
