That unmistakable sound of depression. It had to happen sooner or later.
Such a long long way down.

Dude...you couldn't hold onto NY-23 which had been Republican since 1872. What kind of juggernaut is that? How many other NY-23's will there be? How many places will you have the choice of nominating an extremist and losing everybody, or nominating a RINO and losing the base? What sort of plans are you going to run on anyway? Will it be tax cuts for the rich again? Got anything else??? No...actually you don't...

The term sour grapes applies to this post. Basically, you are disappointed that anyone that doesn't agree with your agenda is bad and we were supposed to fall in line so your party will rule for a thousand years.

Not going to happen...

M1, I had high (or low) hopes on reading your screen name, but what your namesake would have grasped in an instant is the age-old practice of promising anything for any political advantage--especially when the promiser is a politician and is under no legal constraint to honor anything that was said. Obama's base is feeling thrown under the bus because Obama, as other politicians before him (read my lips, no new taxes), said whatever they felt would get them more votes.

Basically, the poster is disappointed the politician didn't live up to his promises. Bwahahahah--unfortunately, the soon to be American dead will have no such last laugh, although at least their flag-covered coffins will now be allowed to be photographed. How's that for change?

Next time vote Democratic Socialist. They won't let you down.
There's a reason Obama's socialist agenda hasn't passed congress.... the stuff he's proposing would impose MAJOR changes to the way this country operates! We can't just sit back and irresponsibly approve everything he wants. It will destroy this country...

Socialism has not and will not work in this country. We don't want to be Europe. You "intellectual" libs should know your history by now... This country was created to get AWAY from European style government. This country became the most powerful economy in the world BECAUSE of it's conservative, free-market system. This country takes care of and donates billions of dollars a year around the world to poor countries BECAUSE we have the money to do so! We are the nicest and most compassionate country in the world. Why don't you libs friggen understand that???

It's not Joe six pack whose house has been foreclosed. It's not the 45 million uninsured. Etc.

Ok, this thread is designed to serve as a support thread for liberals, not as a platform for conservatives to say "We told you so." Nonetheless, I bet not a lot of support will be forthcoming in this thread. There will be the defenders and the critics, to be sure.
How is this Democrat dealing with our two faced president and the spineless congress?

NOT GOOD http://bestsmileys.com/angry2/10.gif (broken link)

Maybe not older but a hell of a lot smarter than you.

Please... explain to me how "corporate america", aka the boogeyman, has dumbed down America.

I'd LOVE to hear your explanation.
