I wouldn't blame California's economy on Obama. That's all on their own state and local government. Budget shortfall? Raise taxes. Tax revenue down because companies are leaving the state? Raise taxes. Tax revenue down because companies are shutting down and unemployment numbers are up? Raise taxes.

I thought it went "how's that hope and change working for you?"

I get so confused. All the insults sound the same to me.

1. Bush was President for almost four months during this period.

2. Bankruptcies do not happen overnight. They take time. The vast majority of these business's who filed for bankruptcy were likely having major problems well before they filed for bankruptcy. Which means even those who filed during the end of this 12-month period (July, August & September) were likely having serious problems well before Obama took over.

You obviously don't live in CA. The governor is certainly a progressive, although he ran on the Republican ticket.

Jealous of what? You? Hardly.

Yeah, right. He's a moderate Republican. Far from being a progressive Democrat. Maxine Waters is a progressive Democrat. Arnold isn't.

Let's see...you're jealous of the wealthy...or Sarah Palin. Take your pick.

He is certainly NOT a moderate. I never said he was a progressive Democrat - but he is a progressive. You obviously don't live in this state, and don't know how lefty he is.

Do you always talk in circles late at night? Jealous of the wealthy? Sarah Palin? What ARE you talking about?

Now you know how I feel when people accuse me of being envious for no apparent reason. Not that you've done so (do you?). Sorry to take it out on you, but if you see some rightwingers throwing the "envy card" where it obviously doesn't belong, you'll understand how some of us who criticize the wealthy and Palin feel.

Great! My business is booming. But it was booming last year and the year before that as well.
